Laura’s foray into team building began as a result of her background as a Physical Education coach and teacher. This created in her a passion for training people to work together and helping to build teams. In both sports and work, she strives to find the best in people, encourages them to share their strengths within their teams, emphasizes the importance of taking risks for the benefit of the group, and helps them develop their leadership skills. She approaches everything with a can-do attitude and loves to create memorable events and experiences for people of all ages.
In her spare time, Laura is part of a Search and Rescue team along with her two Golden Retrievers who assist in lost person searches. Her happy place spans from the water to the mountains and the desert. She also volunteers with HOPE Animal Assisted Crisis Team and travels around the nation supporting anyone that has been affected by a disaster or crisis.
Known as a Tiramisu Chef Extraordinaire amongst family and friends, she proactively reminds herself that life is fun, and that everything is better with polka dots, rubber chickens, hot pink, playing cards, and coffee.
